Infosheets on the national implementation of the three procedural rights directives (access to a lawyer, presumption of innocence and legal aid)
One of the main deliverables of the TRAVAR project was to produce an updated version of the Infosheets on the application of three EU procedural rights directives (access to a lawyer, presumption of innocence and legal aid), which was first delivered under the CrimiLAW project (2022).
The new version includes updates for 6 EU Member states included in the previous publication (Greece, Cyprus, France, Poland, Hungary and Spain) and extends the coverage by including three more EU Member States (Austria, Bulgaria and Romania)
For the production of the manual, each partner appointed an expert on EU criminal law who was responsible for drafting his/her own Member State’s infosheet. Each national infosheet was divided into three different chapters, one for each EU Directive analysed.
